The challenge: ticketing that took too much time
In Toulouse, Fenix electrifies an arena that is, on average, more than 70% full on match nights, in front of a young, family crowd. Behind that energy, one person runs the entire ticketing operation: Marion Agostini, the club's Ticketing Manager for fourteen years, who handles both the strategy and the day-to-day setup.
The club had been using the same solution for more than ten years. It worked well for the partner portal, but it was showing its limits when it came to what fans and the team expected.
A slow checkout flow that wasn't built for mobile, even though the vast majority of sales happen online.
Complimentary tickets sent by hand, sometimes hundreds of them for a single match.
Orders on hold waiting for a bank transfer before tickets could be sent.
Sales tracking in Excel spreadsheets.
No CRM connected to ticketing, which meant little data on spectators and too few marketing campaigns.
Fenix had already proven it could grow its revenue, with a newsletter and fewer complimentary tickets.
To go further, it needed a fast, connected platform that could save its team time. That's what led it to choose Tickie.
More sales over a shorter season
Despite a lighter schedule than the previous season, Fenix sold more tickets and increased its ticketing revenue with Tickie. Three factors explain this performance:
An efficient checkout flow: with a 63% conversion rate, most visitors to the ticketing site complete their purchase.
Steady sales: they were spread throughout the season, a sign of an effective marketing and communications strategy.
A high average order value: driven in particular by season ticket sales.

A growing customer base
The most striking growth was in the club's customer base, which grew by 50% in a single season. That's an unusual jump, driven largely by fans transferring tickets to each other on the Tickie platform.
Every ticket passed on to a friend or family member brings a new contact into the database, and the club can then find that fan in its CRM, reach out directly and give them a reason to come back.
Beyond the number itself, this growth reflects strong engagement and a community that grows match after match.
Calmer match nights
With Tickie, the back office became easier to get to grips with. Match days are better managed, with fewer delays, and payment links make order processing easier. Box office sales are now kept to a minimum, which avoids the bottlenecks caused by unpaid reservations. For Marion Agostini, the platform has made day-to-day management more efficient, and match nights now run far more smoothly.
A CRM to talk to every fan
Where the club used to lack communication tools, Marion now has a CRM connected to her Tickie ticketing platform. She uses it in three ways:
Precise segments: built from purchase data, they form dynamic lists, for example next season's season ticket holders or fans who have spent more than one hundred euros.
Automated emails: Marion builds her own workflows to send targeted, personalized messages to each segment.
Exclusive perks: presales and private pricing, available through a promo code or a dedicated link, to reward the best customers.
At the same time, the club created new price categories for certain seats, at the ends of the side stand and behind the goal, to adjust prices and make them easier to sell.
Hands-on support for the club
At Tickie, setting up a ticketing platform isn't just about handing over a tool. Throughout the season, the team guided Marion step by step through every feature:
Price categories, created and configured together for the arena's new sections.
Segments, built from purchase data to target every type of fan.
Email automations, set up and tested until every workflow worked.
In one season, Marion went from discovering the platform to building her own workflows.
Today, the club runs its ticketing independently, while keeping a direct line to Tickie. Every piece of feedback is passed on to the technical teams, and CRM training is planned to onboard anyone new who joins the department.
It's a close working relationship that lets Fenix move forward with confidence.
Looking ahead to next season

Building on this first season, Fenix doesn't plan to stop there. The club is already preparing what's next, with new projects to build loyalty and reach more fans:
Targeted campaigns aimed at future season ticket holders, using the segments already in place.
Presales and exclusive pricing to reward the best customers.
SMS campaigns, to reach fans on a new channel.
A connection with the club's online store, to grow cross-selling.
These projects build directly on the foundations laid this season: a larger customer base, precise segments and a team that is now comfortable with its tools. The club can shift from a sales mindset to a true loyalty strategy. And with Tickie by its side, it's heading into the future with a ticketing platform ready to grow at the same pace as its community.
Your turn to grow your ticketing
What Fenix achieved in one season, your club can do too. Whatever its size, the same levers are within your reach:

Presales and exclusive pricing, to reward your most loyal fans.
And you're not on your own. The Tickie team supports you throughout the season, from setting up your ticketing to running your loyalty campaigns.
